The Basics of Poker

Poker is a game of risk and reward. Although it is a game of chance, the probability of winning the game is also dependent on the type of cards dealt. The cards do not have memory and the “luck” that is expected in a given session is based on statistical norms. Nonetheless, a lot of skill and experience is required to be a good poker player.
